GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Draw figures for the head and lower body. Connect them with a line.

STEP 2. Draw a shape for the torso and two small circles for the shoulders. Outline the dress.

STEP 5. Continue working on the hood. Outline the nose and mouth. Draw the torso. Make the shape of the cauldron more distinct. Erase all the excess.

STEP 6. Draw eyes and improve the shape of the face. Add elements to the dress. Finish the shape of the staff and the cauldron.

STEP 7. Detail the face and add hair. Outline the fingers. Decorate the clothes with a belt and pouch. Sketch the steam coming from the cauldron. Draw the handle and divide the cauldron into two parts with a wavy line.

STEP 8. Draw the hair. Make creases in the clothes. Add bubbles coming from the cauldron.

STEP 9. Check that there are no extra lines in the drawing. Contour witch, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line.
